Dave is a Partner at Ten Eleven Ventures with over twenty years of frontline experience in cybersecurity, from UK intelligence operations to founding and scaling one of the world’s leading cyber AI companies.

Prior to joining Ten Eleven, Dave was a Co-founder and Chief Product Officer of Darktrace through to its IPO on the London Stock Exchange. Prior to founding Darktrace, Dave had a thirteen-year career in the UK Intelligence Agencies where he developed an appreciation for how high the stakes are when it comes to cyber security protecting our way of life.

Most recently, he was appointed as a member of the UK Government’s Defence & Economic Growth Taskforce working to expand the UK’s defence and security capability and drive sustainable economic growth. His insights on AI and the future of cyber security are also regularly featured in the media. He holds a first-class honours degree in Computer Science and Software Engineering from the University of Birmingham.
